SMS opt-in & message policy
Dekker Construction sends text messages only to people who actively check the optional consent box on our online Budget Builder. We never buy, rent, or share phone numbers, and consent is never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
Where opt-in happens
Consent is collected on the Budget Builder form at dekkerconstruction.com/design-studio, in the contact step where the customer enters their name, email, and phone number. The checkbox is unchecked by default and is optional — a customer can submit a budget request and receive a reply by email or phone without agreeing to texts.

What messages we send
- Budget request confirmations
- Pole barn project status updates
- Scheduling reminders
- Follow-up messages about the customer's building project
Sample message: “Thanks for your Dekker Construction pole barn budget request, John. We'll review your details and follow up soon. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.”
Frequency, rates, STOP and HELP
Message frequency varies by project stage. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out of further messages, or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Internal staff lead alerts
Separately from customer messaging, Dekker Construction operates an internal alert program that texts authorized personnel when a Build Your Budget request is submitted. Authorized staff enroll and give consent on the Internal Lead Alerts SMS enrollment page.
Privacy and terms
Phone numbers collected through the Budget Builder are used only to contact the customer about their project. Details are in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
